The Shining Screen of Immortality

“There is no dignity when the human dimension is eliminated from the person. In short, the problem with pornography is not that it shows too much of the person, but that it shows far too little.”― Pope John Paul II
The screen, pure and fine, so dark
You could sit down, unwind, and bark
Having a long day you sit with nervousness
Going through the universe of endlessness
Turning it on, the screen is shiny
All fly to you bright colors dazzle that be
Pixels of colors are forced in your face
Quickly and silently, you rev up your pace
Slightly you look up things that haunt you
For unwanted pictures, you’d like to see anew
In your dreams, wanting terrible things
In your thoughts, desiring perverse flings
But still, you don’t go full throttle
Until you get tired and want to throw in the towel
Then you enter into it, slowly you wane
Getting up you enter your domain
Dangerously you enter the garden and sow
You go to your own isolated island below
Closing the door to the lonely island
You venture into uncharted flaccid land
In this wasteland of pixels, nothing is real
It’s all hogwash, you sit and watch the reel
But it’s OK, you tell yourself it will be fine
Until suddenly you’re given into all the design
The thrills of everything that peaks your mind
Come rushing to you straddled and it will bind
Demanding it feeds your shallow roll
Crushing it in your little simple silo
You go to more hardcore stuff
Videos and movies of sexual fluff
Things so perverse you will never speak of
Until finally you see it and sneak around love
Life was all but a lie
This is what you want or you’ll die
Addiction pulses through your veins
It creeps into your washed-up brains
Your eyes can’t fully contemplate the terrible sights
Of all, you see out there in that pixel wasteland of lights
Horror grips your soul but entices your senses
With a sudden jerk, you’re forced into a great fog so dense
Covering your futile mind nothing seems to wash away
Until then finally one day
When you realize the emptiness
As you stare down into the endless abyss
You recall to mind prior to the Descends
The love of holding your sweet lady friends
And think of what it would have been
If you never looked at what you’d seen
Things that disgust and upset the nature of mankind
Revulsions that pretend to comfort your mind
Perversity turned into normal life
Normalcy turned into nothing but strife
Deeper into the heart of filth
Deeper into the false love of Milf
Into the dark heart of evil
Demonic thrills cloud your dirtied cathedral
There is no more sense of goodness
No more sense of beauty or truthfulness
Everything is at your disposal
And you don’t want anything like a proposal
Everything is all for play
Your heart then starts to decay
A loathe that you never could explain
Until then finally when you wake up in pain
Finding yourself in your own mire
Not wanting your true heart’s desire
Always scoffing at love’s embrace
As you skillfully save face
Restless you want more and more
Until you can’t handle it and walk out the door
Of your life, you escape and say all that you hate
Until one day when you slowly berate
Yourself and give into self-hate at best
Despair clutches your chest
Nothing is as sure as when you’re down in the muck
With your face in your hands as you duck
Until one day a hand reaches out for you
And you can’t believe someone would ever love you
But the light shines in your darkened soul
And peace comes and suddenly you’re out of the hole
After the addict has his way
You sit outside and look up one day
Thanking God for your precious life
That He made you and created you for rife
